General Historical Debates and Issues
A concise overview of the research focus
History as discipline is also taught as a school subject. In this way all educational sectors are in a way contributing to a level of teaching History. Most historians in some way find themselves at some stage in a compulsory position to respond on contentious topics of the day related to History and the teaching of History. As the general community must be served and questions by community must be addressed, also give rise to several general contributions that one is involved in as historian. This general section highlights a bit of the task in this field.
